This policy explains how LVP Automation (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information through this website, and the choices you have.

Who we are

What we collect and why

• Enquiries and quote requests: the details you give us when you contact us through the website, by email or by phone, used to answer you and prepare your quote. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
• Website analytics: how the site is used, collected with cookies only if you agree. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Technical data: our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Product enquiry and quote forms

Some product pages use an enquiry form provided by Zoho Bigin, our customer relationship system, hosted in Zoho’s EU data centre. What you type into that form goes straight to Zoho Bigin, which handles it on our behalf under Zoho’s data processing terms. Quote requests sent through our Request a Quote list are emailed to our sales team. Enquiries sent through our own website forms are emailed to our team. We keep enquiries for up to 24 months unless you become a customer.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your information. We only share it with service providers who help us run the website and our business, under contracts that require them to keep it secure and use it only on our instructions: our website and hosting provider, Google (analytics) and our email provider. We may also share information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months unless you become a customer, in which case we keep records for as long as needed for that relationship and our legal obligations (for example, tax records for 6 years). Analytics data is kept for no more than 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email sales@conveyors.ie or phone +353 1 864 3838. If you’re not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

Website analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use this website: for example which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (town or region), what device they use and how they found us. Google Analytics does not store your IP address, and we don’t use it to identify you. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time using the cookie button at the bottom of every page. Google may process this data outside the EEA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Cookies we use

• jz_consent (this website, necessary): remembers your cookie choices, 6 months.
• WooCommerce cookies (this website, necessary): keep your quote list working, up to 2 days.
• _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics, analytics, only with your consent): count visits and show how the site is used, up to 2 years.
• sbjs_* (this website, WooCommerce, analytics, only with your consent): remember how you found our website (for example a Google search or an ad), up to 6 months.
