At LVP Automation we write the control systems that make conveyor and automation equipment actually run: starting, stopping, sequencing, accumulating and reporting. Our engineers work across the major platforms — Allen Bradley (CCW, RSLogix, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View), Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron and SCADA — using ladder logic and sequential function charts.
Projects range from the start, stop and jam logic on a single conveyor to a full line with HMI screens, safety circuits and production reporting. We programme new builds, retrofit control onto equipment already installed, and take over systems that are already running. Sites are supported nationwide across Ireland from our facility in Finglas, Dublin 11.
PLC work usually sits alongside electrical control panel building and conveyor system design. Where a line is already running and misbehaving, electrical fault finding is often the faster route, and finished programmes can be written up through our documentation services.
Can you work on a system someone else programmed?
Yes. We take over existing programmes, work through the logic and document what is there before changing anything.
Can you retrofit control onto older equipment?
Often yes. Much of our work is adding modern control and HMI to machinery that is mechanically sound but running on outdated or failed controls.
Do you supply the panel as well as the programme?
We build control panels in-house, so the programme and the hardware are specified together rather than by two separate parties.
What do we get at handover?
A commissioned, running system, a walkthrough with the operators who will use it, and documentation of the programme as installed.
