Industrial robots and collaborative robots take on the repetitive, heavy and awkward tasks that are hardest to staff. LVP Automation supplies and integrates six axis industrial robots and cobots across Ireland for palletising, pick and place, machine tending and assembly, matching the robot, gripper, guarding and controls to the job rather than selling a fixed cell.
A full size industrial robot is the right answer where reach, payload and cycle time matter, which is why palletising and heavy machine tending are typically handled that way. A cobot earns its place where floor space is tight, volumes are moderate and the cell has to sit beside people without a full fence. Cobot palletisers in particular have made automated end of line stacking realistic for smaller Irish producers who could never justify a traditional palletising cell.
Machine tending is often the quickest win. A robot loading and unloading a CNC machine, injection moulding tool or test rig runs unattended through breaks and shift changes, and the same cell can be redeployed when the product changes. Pick and place robots handle high speed transfer, sorting and tray loading, usually with machine vision guiding them. Talk to our engineers in Dublin about cycle time, payload, product variation and available space and we will design the cell and integrate it with your conveyor line.
