Roller Conveyors

Roller conveyors are the workhorse of carton, tote and tray handling, and LVP Automation supplies the full range to manufacturers, distributors and logistics operators across Ireland. The family covers unpowered gravity sections, driven lineshaft and zero line pressure systems, curved and corner units, expandable flexible conveyors and vehicle loading conveyors for trailer and container work.

Where product can be moved by hand or by a slight incline, gravity roller conveyors are the most economical option and need no power or controls at all. Where flow has to be controlled, accumulated or released in sequence, powered roller conveyors using lineshaft or zero line pressure technology allow boxes to queue without crushing each other. Corner conveyors turn the flow through ninety degrees inside a compact footprint, while flexible conveyors extend and retract to reach into vehicles and around obstacles.

Selection comes down to load weight, the base length of the product, required throughput and how the conveyor will be loaded and unloaded. Rollers must be pitched so that at least three sit under the shortest item, and frames, drives and controls are sized to the duty cycle. Our engineers work through those details with you, then supply the conveyor as a standalone section or as part of a wider goods in, order picking or despatch layout. Installation, commissioning, spares and service are handled from Dublin, and sections can be extended or reconfigured as your volumes grow.
