Strappers & Wrappers

Strappers and wrappers secure a load so it arrives as it left. LVP Automation supplies pallet wrappers, pallet strapping machines and orbital wrappers to manufacturers and distributors across Ireland, from semi automatic units for lower volumes through to fully automatic in line machines.

Pallet wrappers apply stretch film around a pallet to hold the load together and protect it from dust and moisture. Turntable machines are the most common and most economical choice, rotating the pallet against a film carriage. Where loads are unstable, very heavy or very tall, a rotary arm or ring machine wraps without turning the load. Film pre stretch, containment force and cycle design decide both film cost per pallet and whether the load actually survives transport.

Strapping applies tensioned plastic or steel strap to compress and secure a load or to close a case, and it is often used together with wrapping rather than instead of it. Orbital wrappers wrap film around long products such as profiles, pipe, timber and doors by passing them through a rotating ring. All of these can run standalone with a forklift or be fed automatically from pallet conveyors immediately after palletising.
