PU/PVC Belt Conveyors

PU and PVC belt conveyors are the general purpose workhorses of light and medium duty product handling. A continuous polyurethane or PVC belt runs over a flat bed, carrying cartons, trays, components, bags and pouches quietly and gently. LVP Automation supplies light duty and medium duty belt conveyors to manufacturers across Ireland, built to the width, length and belt specification each application needs.

Belt choice is the heart of the specification. Polyurethane belting is the usual selection for food contact and for applications that need frequent cleaning, while PVC is a hard wearing, cost effective option for general factory duty. Surface finish, thickness and cleat or sidewall options control grip on inclines and stop product rolling back. Light duty frames suit small components and packaging lines, while medium duty frames take heavier loads and longer centres.

Because the belt supports product along its whole length, these conveyors handle small, thin or unstable items that would fall between rollers, and they run at a controlled speed for infeed to labellers, checkweighers and packing stations. Where the route needs to turn, accumulate or gain height they combine with roller conveyors and plastic modular belt conveyors.
